I think if the game have a bit more action than other 9th dawn, it can became very funny: with a possibility for dodging or blocking manually the game can be very funny!

Maybe a strategic attack-style: with one tap system (and better difference of range of monster) and dodging abiliy... blocking... like in elder scrolls or gothic series! With this combat system, one who are new dont die when encounteer a goblin beacuse it do more dps! And with this more persons download/buy the game beacuse in play store there arent so many good rpg! But 9th dawn can became the best rpg!

But 9th dawn can became the best rpg! You're right, also maybe there should be hitboxes so the damage dealt depends on the monster's hitbox size. E Ex. A dagger is less efficient against a giant, but does pretty well against a goblin. Js

What if a helmet protect the head and when a tall enemy attack you the helmet protect you, and if a rat attack you, the helmet cant do anything

So I was thinking for bosses or mini bosses you have a player vs NPC that is something similar to bloodbourne. So you can run into a character like you basically or different opposing builds that show off their abilities.

I was also thinking. When ur playing as a mage in 9th Dawn II. When you have ur spells on the hot keys and if you have a staff in your hand. In stead of when you go to switch spells you don’t double up on magic. You just switch spells.

I just picked up 9th Dawn II, I’m loving it so far. It’s such a refreshingly good game in a genre that I don’t see too often. What makes the game even better is the passion and generosity that Valorware exhibits, a good game? With offline single player? That doesn’t have microtransactions!? That supports cross platform!? I mean I love how dedicated Valorware is to this game series, in my mind he’s already up there with the golden indie developers without a doubt. That being said and with 9th Dawn III in development (and open to feedback which I love) I think it would be a good idea to give different melee weapons farther or shorter reach, or they could have a broader hit box depending on the weapon. Pole arms could reach a fair bit from your character, daggers have a short reach. Axes would have a short ranged 45 degree swipe, the two handed ones would have a longer ranged 50 degree swipe but of course will be slower (perhaps knock back as another user suggested), the same goes for greatswords; a sweeping attack that has a 70 degree swipe (does less knowback than the two handed axe). Thank you for being so passionate about this game series, your integrity has not gone unnoticed.
