Please contribute any quest ideas here- please remember that 9th Dawn has a massive international following so quests should be frustration-free and "completeable" even if the player cannot read English very well. This puts more of an emphasis on puzzle/finding items types of quests rather than dialogue-heavy quests. Thank you

Badspaz: help! Help! These goblins wont leave me alone I need to hunt for my family but those rotten goblins keep raiding my house! The worst part is they stole my bow! What am I to do without my tools? I will pay 500 gold to anyone who finds my bow of true shot . Will you help me ? User option a: where are the goblins? User option b: I have food I can give you User option c: step aside peasant or I will have to deal with you accordingly
Badspaz response a: They live in that broken down village north east from the Cascade Rivers fork. You need to go into the village from the north be aware though because they will expect you in the south . It's heavily guarded and that's why I can't sneak in and grab my bow myself. I'm begging to please help meand my family . That bow was passed by my father . Why it's been our family for generations! I hear the leaders name is gargoth the great! But he isn't so nice and he never fights his own battles . My wife who is the healer of ou village says that gargoth and his pesky minions hate fire! I don't know where they keep the treasures for all I know gargoth is using my bow! Please help me I can't do this on my own Badspaz response b: I would greatly appreciate anything we can get but my son wants to learn how to hunt too I can't teach him without the bow of true shot! Will toy help me or not? User a: yes User b: no Badspaz response to yes : revert to option response a Badspaz response to no : I'm sorry to bother you
Badspaz option c: don't dare test my skills (entire village attacks user till death!
User aproaches gargoth the great!: Gargoth the great: we have ouse lives another challenger! Goblins of the great cascades now is our moment to shine !
User finds bow and gives it to badspaz:
Badspaz response : here is the 500 I promised you and I can't thank you enough for your support on helping my family as an additional award here is my dog bandit . He will help you store items you can no longer Carry ! He's a Fiesty one at first but teach him to hunt he can attack on command !

1) some quest should require to speak to 2 or 3 different person to end it. the quest line proceed following the npc you choose (example, I've recovered item1 should I give it back to the owner, to the thief guild or does it belong to a museum? or just keep it for myself?) this give the player some sandbox esperience and give the feeling to "choose" 2) sometime I appreciate a good session of hack/slash even in deep RPG games, it whould be great to have some quest with a lot of killing in a small area (example, PC need to close some portals that spawn demons. the ork village is in flame and many orks are fleeing, you should kill as many as possible before they reach salvation). Or, just outside the city an enormous crevasse and many fire elemental are popping out, kill all the elementals. 3) after recovering a powerful artifact it changes you in some way (example, you become a monster an you cannot enter cities until you remove the curse) so you'll need to find a "cure" before gaming as usual. 4) a famous architect needs to test his new creation, a brand and deadly new dungeon. PC is informed that the dungeon is a WIP so he/she will find only rooms with trap to test (example the dungeon should be very linear, the purpose is to test trapped room and objects not to keep treasure safe) in every room there's should be a riddle a trap or a secret to find so the PC can access the next room. 5) a quest that seems concluded to the PC but later in game an event can change this. (example, the PC find a tool/item that free again tha demon you banished days ago) eventually the demon is angrier and stronger than before. hope this will help, have a nice day

I think game need more simple quests, like go in that place and find this, and take it back to me)

I am looking for someone to help me travel to the capital and get some materials for my shop, I'm a smithy ya see? I can't work with no metal. . . And since the road is flooded with those nasty monsters, traveling merchants don't come near this village. . . Are you interested in helping this old man out? I'll give you a suitable reward for escorting me to the capital . . (And you can answer with "maybe another time" or "I'm ready when you are" . . First choice: ohh, I see, what a shame, come back if you change your mind . . Second choice: thank you lad! Let's go now! . . The reward would be something out of those 3 A leather armor (for the agility type) A steel armor (for those knights an swordsman) A robe (obviously for the mages) . . And by that you unlock a new shop that sells defensive equipment

What of a miniquest in a cave with a person who speaks:-hey, you, dont move! There are the bandit boss!
A:Do you need help? the person say: you can sneak and stun the bandit, then i can go and take my things.........*when finished* take this gold, you need it
B:I am going on my way, good luck

Add more simple quests. In 9th Dawn 2, there are too many useless monster drops (rat tail, bat wing, snake skin, etc). Only wolf pelts was included in the quest in that game.
So, in 9th Dawn 3, just make a NPC that collect these items, and will asks player to bring him these items (from common to rare ones).

Don't have a concrete idea yet but willing to think more about it if you want.
I love having quests where it is not always as appearent where to go. Like you find a stone and you need to search the entire country to find someone that can help you understand what this stone is, or perhaps a pedistal where you can insert the stone. What I always dislike is that somehow, no matter how rare the item is or how long lost and forgotten it is, there's always someone in the world that can tell you everything about it and that crushes the feeling or exploration and discovery.
I woud love for a quest to be in the game where you find an item that nobody knows anything about and only works in the perfect location. Nobody will guide you there, you have to stumble upon it by luck, or by exploring the entire world of 9th dawn.
